Do you have a lot of dandelions that pop up in your yard every spring? If you like a pristine yard, then getting rid of them is a lot of work. However, they can offer lots of health benefits when you use them to make a drink like a tasty dandelion root coffee.

Making a dandelion root coffee is really easy to do. The hardest part is harvesting all of the dandelions you need to have for this project. Once this is done, then you need to prepare a few of the roots. Makes sure the roots have been completely washed to remove the dirt.

You will be using a food processor and your own to make dandelion root coffee. The oven is needed to dry the roots until they are really dark. Two teaspoons are all you will need for two people, depending on how strong you want to make your coffee. Instructions to make your own dandelion root coffee are on outdoorchics.com here...
