Do you find yourself without lotion to use for dry hands when out and about? There are travel sizes for you to use, but these contain chemicals and additives just like a larger container. A better solution for a lotion on the go is to make your own lotion bars.

The process to make your own lotion bars is not that complicated to do. In fact, all you need to make a batch at home is just three ingredients. Simply blend together Shea butter, coconut oil, and beeswax to make a mixture to pour into a mold.

Many different types of molds can be used when you make your own lotion bars. An ice cube tray will do in a pinch if you do not have a suitable mold available. Another option for you to use as mold is an Altoids tin or a plastic soap container. Just make sure to wait for your bars to cool.
